224 µm laboratory test sieve — 200 mm × 50 mm, stainless steel frame

This Endecotts test sieve uses stainless steel mesh with a nominal 224 µm opening in a 200 mm diameter, 50 mm deep stainless steel frame. It is intended for laboratory particle-size analysis and routine sieving where this opening and frame configuration are required.

Typical applications and selection: The 224 µm opening is well suited to classification of fine powders, granular materials and fine sand-size fractions in laboratory quality-control and particle-size work. The stainless-steel frame is particularly suitable where corrosion resistance, frequent cleaning or wet-sieving capability is important. The 50 mm full-height format provides more sample volume and headroom than a half-height sieve. The final sieve opening should always follow the applicable test method or product specification.

An optional calibration certificate is available for applications requiring documented verification according to ASTM E11 and ISO 3310.
