#325 (0.045 mm) ASTM laboratory test sieve — 8 in × 2 in, stainless steel frame

This Dual Manufacturing ASTM test sieve provides a nominal #325 (0.045 mm) opening in an 8 in diameter, 2 in deep frame. The sieve uses stainless steel mesh with a stainless steel frame for laboratory particle-size analysis and standardized sieving procedures.

Typical applications and selection: The 0.045 mm opening is well suited to very fine particle classification, including fine mineral powders, pigments, cementitious fines and other laboratory powders when the test method specifies this cut size. The all-stainless-steel construction is particularly suitable where corrosion resistance, frequent cleaning or wet-sieving capability is important. The 2-inch depth provides more sample volume and headroom than the 1-inch format. The final sieve designation and opening should always follow the applicable test method or product specification.

Dual Manufacturing USA Standard sieves are produced as ASTM E11 compliant sieves. Each sieve has an individualized etched serial number and is supplied with a manufacturer certificate. Inspection certification is available as an option, and recertification services are also available for used sieves.
